Rameses B has absolutely killed it with his remix of Vicetone’s “Heartbeat.” Matching up against others who have taken their shot remixing this track, Rameses B without a doubt stands out with his melodic dubstep rendition. Bump it and enjoy.

This week we welcome in one of San Francisco’s up-and-coming electronic acts, Input Output. In just over a year, they’ve played all of the Bay Area’s top clubs and even made a cameo at Coachella. This Saturday they’ll be at the Savoy in Santa Barbara for a special OnSlaught Productions Memorial Day show. Enjoy their Midweek Mix!

I immediately want to start off this post by apologizing for not posting in like, jesus, 2 weeks? I’ve been slammed with school, work, life but I plan on making a full-fledged comeback. Anyway, wanna kick off that comeback with a few from Joel Zimmerman, or as most of you know him as, Deadmau5. He recently flooded his SoundCloud with some of the most beautifully composed tracks that I’ve heard him released in a while. Giving me goosebumps, taking my mind places they shouldn’t go, wandering in his synths, progressions and beats. Some of them are just samples…. but I recommend going to check them all out.

Well if this isn’t the catchiest electro-house song I’ve heard in months then I don’t know what is. Vicetone takes Matthew Koma‘s already undeniably catchy pop single “One Night” and gives it the old electro re-work. Solid remix from the dutch duo.

The Chainsmokers have created what I believe to be the perfect summer jam. Say Lou Lou’s “Julian” on it’s own is an amazing and well put together original. The Chainsmokers have added a completely new sound to it, bringing in just the right amount of energy to make it a feel-good track. Summer has begun. Enjoy.

Seven Lions, Minnesota and Mimi Page have been working on this track for about a year now, and it’s finally here! Combining all their skills, the three of them have created quite the track. The drops are so good and the dreamy female vocals pair up perfectly with the melodic dubstep synths. I hope to hear more from all three of them in future because they are the perfect combination. Enjoy.

I feel this post and every one to follow is coming as a necessity. We had a weekly mix that we used to do that we seem to have forgotten about so here I am here to reinstate it. Basically what this will be is a weekly re-cap of all our favorite tracks of the week, of any genre, new releases and the occasional re-discovered gem. This week’s mix will be a collection of tracks from the past couple of weeks. Most noteworthy tracks are the three of my favorite songs off Random Access Memories, Baauer‘s remix of Disclosure‘s “You & Me, ” and this catchy CHVRCHES‘ remix of MS MR‘s track “Hurricane.” So without further ado, I present you Volume I of our Weekly Mix.

Such a beautiful and well put together mashup coming from The Hood Internet. In what they call “Adornocene,” the duo basically took Miguel’s “Adorn,” removed the vocals and added some Bon Iver. Simple, yet genius. Enjoy.
