So I’ve been rather busy and haven’t been posting as consistently as I would’ve liked, henceforth this little recap post. I’m not gonna go into detail on all the songs featured; everything is just a collection of my pick’s from the past week or so. Most notable are: 1) Lana‘s “Young and Beautiful” off the upcoming Great Gatsby soundtrack 2) New Empire of the Sun!!! 3) Disclosure‘s latest featuring Eliza Doolittle 4) “24k” feat. A$AP Rocky which samples one of my favorite songs of all time 5) TNGHT‘s latest banger, “Acrylics” which I was fortunate enough to see live this past weekend at Coachella, and lastly 6) My favorite song offKid Cudi‘s recently released album Indicud (out now on iTunes) featuring the lovely Haimsisters.
You know, we’ve been big fans of Disco Friesfor a number of years now and these guys are so incredibly consistent in what they release that it’s remarkably refreshing to be able to come back to their tracks at any point and be nothing but surprised at their work. Amongst all the shit that flies around lately – with focuses on trap, dubstep and all the styles in between its nice to find a group that stays within a genre they know they can absolutely destroy. Thanks to Disco Fries and their version of Calvin Harris‘ Sweet Nothing and forcing it on a blind date with Wolfgang Gartner we can all be happy again. Enjoy this electro-house gem; I know I am.
I know I said I was gonna do a full length review of Rocky’s Long.Live.A$AP but seeing as I’ve delayed it to the point where it’s already been out a couple weeks and it’s been reviewed and critiqued a hundred times over, I’m not gonna do one. However, I will say that the album definitely lived up to it’s hype. It’s really only a matter of time until A$APRocky is a household name. I’m sure you’ve all heard the album already so I figured it was time to post some remixes. The first couple of which are coming from a couple of guys I’ve been meaning to feature for a long time, by the name’s of Ruddyp and Bear//Face. They just put out a couple bootleg/edits of A$AP’s “Long Live A$AP” and “Pussy Money Weed (All I Need)” and both are rather dope. I really love both these dudes’ sound and am kind of disappointed in myself for not getting their names to you sooner. I highly urge you to check out some of their other stuff, which you can via their Soundclouds listed below. Perfect candidates for our next Chill Mix.
Its been a long while since my last post but im ready to get back in the game with a dope track from Oh Snap!!Atom has found its way into the sets of many and with good reason…its a hard hitting electro track that always gets the crowd moving no matter what. Oh Snap!! has taken Atom and turned it into one of the better Trap Bootlegs i’ve heard to date. If any of you out there have fallen for the trap bug as hard as I have you’re bound to love this track.
Wow, this bootleg is incredible! I’ve just about had it on repeat since I downloaded it just a couple days ago and I NEED you to all hear it. It’s just over 6 minutes long but is 1 million percent worth it. It’s got so much Avicii ripping through it, it just FORCES you to the dancefloor with good feelings and incredible progressive yet almost electro-house feel to it. Ezon is a 19 year old Swedish producer who has been producing electronic music for quite some time and has gained some serious notoriety for his bootlegs, remixes and originals. Feels just about as good as Avicii and Sebastian Drums’ My Feelings For You from sometime early last summer. Love the good vibes flying through this one. So will you, I guarantee it. Enjoy!
Disco Fries really has a way with electronic music. Ever since I heard their Silhouettes mix I have been looking out for their work, and whenever I see the name I dont hesitate to listen to what has been created. This Let’s Go bootleg is a prime example of what they are capable of producing.

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]f you’re anything like me and like a good progressive dance club track and like Tommy Trash just as much then this shit is just on the spot for you. Tommy Trash released this bootleg just a few hours ago to celebrate his reaching 60k likes on his Facebook. It’s definitely worth a listen and a download. So enjoy folks!

[dropcap]H[/dropcap]ey everyone! Now I’m not usually one to go ahead and post bootlegs, but it appears that that is exactly what I’m doing. This is one coming from Basic Physics, who in the past has put out some incredible remixes, mashups and bootlegs. This one is no different! Basic Physics is a 22-year-old producer out of Minneapolis who has been building his name and his content for a couple of years now and has been receiving attention from around the world. This is his single coming up off his soon to be released album! Enjoy.
