The Haim sisters have done it yet again. This amazing trio consisting of Este, Danielle and Alana know how to create some amazingly beautiful, melodic and unforgettable music. With the help of Duke Dumont on this particular track, “Falling” is transformed into a ethereal indie electronic gem that screams for attention and it’s got just that from me. Attention. Plenty of attention. London based Duke Dumont – who’s currently on tour, incase you were wanting to see this mastermind perform – put his himself into this track in a way only an extremely talented artist could do. Hundred Waters – Boreal (Blood Diamonds Remix)

“Boreal” by Hundred Waters is the latest song to get the Blood Diamonds treatment.  Since he first captured my attention and most of the blogging world with his breakout hit “Phone Sex” featuring Grimes and I’ve been waiting and aching to here more.  He dropped “Ritual” and a remix of Dear Prudence’s “Valentine” which I both liked a lot but really hasn’t been putting out as much stuff as I would of hoped.  So, hopefully this is the start of a lot more to come this year.

The original of MØ’s “Pilgrim” was featured in our last Indie Mix (listen here) and really deserved its own post.  I have now officially been forced into making one, albeit for the remix MS MR just put out.  I’ve been listening to the original a lot recently and as soon as I heard MS MR got their hands on it I knew it was gonna be amazing.  Their last EP, Candy Bar Creep Show, was one of the most unique styles of a pop record I’ve heard this past year, or any year for that matter.  Dark-pop is the genre I’ve appropriated their sound and to be completely honest, I haven’t heard a lot of bands doing what they’re doing and doing it as well as they’re doing at the moment.  So go scope their last EP if you haven’t already, and get down to their latest remix of “Pilgrim.”  HOLLA HOLLA HOLLA HOLLA HOLLA

I truly am in admiration of this amazing piece of electronic bliss from the 18 year old NY based producer YUME.  He eloquently combines the uplifting synths and transience of a progressive house song with a hip-hop backbeat and some trap snares to make for a truly captivating piece of dreamy goodness.  Also figured I’d throw in another song of his I like a lot.

Gotta say, I’m really impressed with Coyote Kisses lately. Time and time again, Joe and Bryce of CK have released some remarkably unique and very different remixes. All that have attracted some serious attention from around the blogosphere – this track is no different. Here they remix Seven Lions‘ Days To Come, and turn it in to an glitchy, ambient space adventure riddled with melodic vocals and rock-ish drops. Enjoy.

INTO THE AM’s Weekend Mix [07/28/12] – OVERWERK

This mix was released by Overwerk back in late July and I’m not really sure how I or we missed it but thanks to one of our Facebook fans bringing it to my attention I am now able to happily share it with you.
