Such a beautiful and well put together mashup coming from The Hood Internet. In what they call “Adornocene,” the duo basically took Miguel’s “Adorn,” removed the vocals and added some Bon Iver. Simple, yet genius. Enjoy.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted anything from 3LAU, and I’m pretty excited about his latest mashup, “Arc.” 3LAU combines 6 high energy tracks into one solid mashup, which can often be described by him as “dance floor filth.” Enjoy.
Kaskade will make a return to his residency at Marquee in Vegas starting May 4th, and as a little teaser, he released this mashup titled All That You Give Faces. If you haven’t had the chance to see Kaskade live, make sure you catch him at Marquee because he puts on one hell of a show. Enjoy.
Kaskade vs. Inpetto - All That You Give Faces (Kaskade Mashup)
No wait. This right now is exactly what I needed. Case & Point shamelessly mashing Kavinsky, DadaLife, and what is that… JustinBieber into one massive electro-house mashup guaranteed to get your shi* moving. This track is absolutely massive and a must-have for any good dj’s library. I always hear people talking about the decline of mashups and the focus that upcoming artists have on creating/producing their own sound but I think that something must be said for an artist to be able to mash songs together and create an incredible sound like this one. Case & Point have nailed it. Enjoy!
Candyland has been blowing up recently. Not only have they won various remix competitions, they’ve topped the charts on Beatport and released a EP through Spinnin’ Records. This special little mashup that they put together is what they’ve been playing to kick off every party with. Overall the mashup is pleasing to the ear and get’s especially dirty at 1:47. Grab your free download and enjoy.
If you’ve ever heard Chuckie live, you’ve probably heard this epic mash up as he has been known to make the crowd go wild when he drops it. In this mashup, Chuckie combines the best of both Alesso and Dada Life into one solid track. Happy Sunday. Enjoy.
A brand new mashup coming from Kaskade titled “Surrender Apogee.” I have to say this is not one of the best mashups he’s released, but it’s definitely worth a listen. Grab yourself a free download and enjoy.
It’s always tough coming up with a list of “Top Songs” of the year, mainly because I find it hard to find what I should base my list off of. What I finally ended up putting together is essentially a collection of songs that for one, I feel have had a big impact this year and are truly worthy of being on a “Top Songs of 2012″ list, and secondly, are songs that for whatever reason have made it onto my personal “Most Played” list and “Favorites” list, which usually consists of songs that overall just make me happy, songs I like to relax to, songs I like to rage to, and songs that remind me of a time in my life. A$AP‘s “Goldie” is far and away my favorite track of 2012 (AND IT MUST BEEEEEE) for a number of reasons but mainly because every time I hear it, as soon as I hit play it just puts me and everyone else in the room in a good mood. In the breakout year of trap music, and in terms of the downright slappers the year has brought out, TNGHT‘s “Higher Ground” is just so badass and so different from anything I’ve heard that it’s gotta be in there. Anything Lana Del Rey is on my list but if I had to choose, “Born To Die” is my favorite song of her’s this year (not to mention the chillest music video of the year). Same goes for Frank Ocean. I loved Channel Orange, but again, if I had to choose, “Lost” would have to be my pick off the album. The rest are tracks that just stood out for me – whether it be lyrically, just pure catchy-ness of the song, or even more importantly, the memories I’ve made and accompanied with certain songs that now every I hear them, I will be reminded of what I was doing in my life at that certain point in time. So, after much thought and many hours spent refreshing myself on what the year has produced, here are my official Top Tracks of 2012. Enjoy.
