Got an amazing artist to share with you trap fans out there. Ranking in at just 15-years-old, Alex Young has already made a very strong name for himself in the trap music industry and actually blew me away when I heard what he had been making and submitting to his SoundCloud. As a friend of mine put it, it seems that he’s definitely the Madeon of the trap game. His style is absolutely unforgettable and his production flawless – this guy is what trap needs in terms of changing the direction of trap music for the better – which almost didn’t seem possible. For what I felt was dying just as fast as it arose, trap music now has a future in ▲lex Young – and an exciting one at that. Check it out.
Oh, and a little side note for those of you unsure about trap – it’s definitely not going to work out if you’re listening to these tracks with iPod headphones. The bass in trap music is easily half of what you need to hear / more importantly, feel.
