“Need U’ is the latest from UK-based #seapunk trendsetter Oliver Sabin a.k.a. Unicorn Kid. The single is out officially October 1 but Oliver was kind enough to grace us with the song’s official video so we have something to hold onto until then. The video immediately reminded me of the Gaspar Noé film Enter The Void by the way it’s shot with the camera right up in his face as he dazedly stumbles through the neon-lit streets of Chinatown at night. Flashing holographic anime characters, fluorescent lights, and high-octane techno beats, I am pretty down about it. Be sure to stay tuned for the song’s full release due out in a couple months.
